• Properties may be redeemed by paying all arrears, penalties and costs in guaranteed funds until the property is declared sold.
• Each parcel is offered subject to a reserve bid, and title remains subject to reservations and conditions in the existing certificate of title.
• Lands are sold 'as is, where is', with no municipal representation or warranty on the parcel's state or suitability for intended use.
• The auctioneer, councillors, chief administrative officer and municipal designated officers and employees may not bid or buy unless directed by the municipality on its behalf.
• The purchaser is responsible for current-year property taxes and utilities, with no adjustment to the date of sale.
• The purchaser must sign a sale agreement in the form and substance provided by the municipality.
