• Tenders must state the proposed future use, which Council reviews for compliance with zoning bylaws and Town policies.
• The Town may accept any tender, not necessarily the highest.
• The successful proponent has 30 days to pay the balance in cash and must be able to enter into a purchase agreement with the Town.
• Bidders accept responsibility for what they bid on and cannot hold the Town liable for later title, survey or other problems; those who disagree may not bid.
• Appointments to view the properties are arranged through the CAO.
• Tenders may be submitted by sealed envelope or by email marked with the property address.
• The 519 Main Street East purchase agreement is the Town's Land Sales Agreement attached as Appendix A.
